Aquaventure Tickets: Honest Guide to Real Prices, the 1.2 m Rule and When to Skip the Fast Pass

Aquaventure tickets guide — the lazy river and lagoon at Aquaventure World, Atlantis The Palm

Search for Aquaventure tickets, and every website shows you a different price. One says AED 315. Another says 330. A third says 360. They cannot all be right, and the truth is simple: there is no single fixed Aquaventure Dubai price. The park changes its price by date, like an airline. This guide gives you the real numbers from the official booking page, the height rule that decides what your child pays, and a clear way to pick the right pass without overpaying.

The short answer first. Aquaventure waterpark tickets start from AED 255 online. A busy weekend costs more. Children are priced by height, not by age, and little ones aged 2 and below enter free. Now the full picture.

Quick Answer: Aquaventure Tickets at a Glance

Waterpark Day Pass: from AED 255 online. On Saturday 17 October 2026: Adult AED 360, Junior AED 310.

Day Pass + Lost World Aquarium combo: from AED 275. On 17 October 2026: Adult AED 380, Junior AED 330.

Lost World Aquarium only: from AED 85.

Adult or Junior? Decided by height. Above 1.2 m pays the Adult price. Below 1.2 m pays the Junior price.

Free entry: children aged 2 and below.

Aquaventure opening hours: every day, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Where: Aquaventure World, Atlantis The Palm, Crescent Road, Palm Jumeirah.

Checked: 16 October 2026

Aquaventure Ticket Prices: Why Every Website Shows a Different Number

Aquaventure uses date-based pricing. Quiet days cost less. Weekends, public holidays, and school breaks cost more. That is why old blog posts and ticket sellers all show different numbers: each copied the price of a different day, and most never updated it.

Here is what the official booking page showed when we checked:

TicketListed “from” pricePrice on Sat 17 Oct 2026
Waterpark Day Pass, Adult (above 1.2 m)from AED 255Adult AED 360
Waterpark Day Pass, Junior (below 1.2 m)from AED 255Junior AED 310
Day Pass + Aquarium combo, Adultfrom AED 275Adult AED 380
Day Pass + Aquarium combo, Juniorfrom AED 275Junior AED 330
Lost World Aquarium onlyfrom AED 85from AED 85

So how do you budget for your Aquaventure Dubai price? Expect a price near the “from” price on a quiet weekday and a higher price on a Friday, Saturday, holiday, or school break. On the Saturday we checked, one adult ticket cost AED 360. That is AED 105 more than the lowest listed price for the same park and the same slides. Always pick your real date on the official site before you travel, because the price only becomes true when the date is chosen.

One more warning. A seller price that looks cheaper than the official site is usually an old price, a weekday price shown for a weekend date, or a pass without something you thought was inside. Compare the same date and the same pass before you pay anyone.

The 1.2 m Rule: Your Child’s Price Is Set by Height, Not Age

This is the rule that surprises families at the gate. Aquaventure does not price your child by age. It uses height.

  • Above 1.2 m: Adult ticket.
  • Below 1.2 m: Junior ticket.
  • Aged 2 and below: free entry.

So a tall 8-year-old pays the adult price, and a short 11-year-old pays the junior price. Many guides get this wrong. Some say the child price is for ages 3 to 7. Some say children under 3 go free. The official booking page says height decides the ticket, and free entry is for age 2 and below.

Do this before you book: measure your child at home, shoes off, standing straight against a wall. If your child is close to 1.2 m, be ready for the adult price even if you hoped for the junior one. It is much better to learn this at home than at the entrance, in the heat, with a tired child next to you.

One more family rule: children under 12 must be with an adult inside the park. So every child booking also needs at least one adult ticket in the plan.

Day Pass, Combo, or Aquarium Only: Which Pass Should You Buy?

Here is the mistake many visitors make: they buy a day pass and think the aquarium is inside it. It is not. The waterpark day pass does not include the Lost World Aquarium. You need the combo pass for both or a separate aquarium ticket.

You may know the aquarium by its old name, The Lost Chambers. It is the same place with a new name: Lost World Aquarium.

So which pass fits you?

  • Only want the slides and the beach? Buy the day pass for AED 255. Simple and enough for most visitors.
  • Want the waterpark and the aquarium on the same day? Buy the Aquaventure Lost World Aquarium combo for AED 275. Look at the checked Saturday prices: the combo cost AED 380 for an adult, only AED 20 more than the day pass at AED 360. For most families, that small difference makes the combo the smart buy.
  • Only want the aquarium? Buy the aquarium-only ticket for AED 85. Good for a short visit, a very hot day, or anyone who does not swim.

Do not buy the aquarium twice by mistake. If your pass says combo, the aquarium is already inside it.

What Is Inside Aquaventure World?

First, the name. The park at Atlantis The Palm is now officially called Aquaventure World. Older guides just say Atlantis Aquaventure or Aquaventure Waterpark. It is one and the same place.

Inside, you get a full day of water fun:

  • Big thrill slides on the park’s towers, built for teens and adults who like speed and drops.
  • A long, lazy river where you float through the park on a tube.
  • Splashers Island, the children’s zone, made mainly for kids under 1.2 m, with small slides and water play.
  • A 1 km private beach with loungers, included in your day pass. Many sellers still write 2 km. The official site says 1 km.

It is a big park. Arrive with a simple plan: big slides first, a lazy river and beach in the middle of the day, and one last round of your favorite slide before closing.

Aquaventure Opening Hours and the Best Time to Go

Aquaventure opening hours are easy to remember: every day, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The best time to go is the moment the gates open. At 10 AM the big slides have short lines, the beach is quiet, and you can finish the famous rides before the crowds arrive. By midday on a weekend, lines for the top slides grow long.

Pick your day like this:

  • Quietest: a weekday, outside school holidays.
  • Busiest: Fridays, Saturdays, public holidays, and school breaks. These days also carry the highest prices.
  • Weather: a waterpark day feels best in the cooler months. In summer, start at opening time and rest in the shade at midday. Our Dubai Weather guide shows you the best and worst months, month by month.

How to Reach Aquaventure World

The park sits at Atlantis The Palm, on Crescent Road, at the top of Palm Jumeirah.

  • Palm Monorail: the easy public transport choice. Ride to Palm Gateway station, take the monorail across the Palm, and get off at the Atlantis station. The park is right there. The monorail ride itself gives you a great view of the Palm.
  • Taxi or car: ask for “Atlantis The Palm, Aquaventure. “Every Dubai taxi driver knows it. This is the simplest choice for families with small children and beach bags.

New to the Palm? Our Palm Jumeirah complete guide explains the island, its stations, and what else you can see on the same trip.

Extra Costs and the AquaXpress Question

Your ticket is not the whole cost of the day. Plan for these extras:

  • Lockers and towels are paid extras inside the park. Bring your own towel, and you save one of them.
  • Food and drinks inside cost more than outside, like at any big attraction. Feed small children before you enter if you can.
  • AquaXpress fast pass: this paid add-on lets you skip the normal lines on the big slides. Is it worth it? Only on busy days. On a quiet weekday, lines are short, and the AquaXpress fast pass is money for nothing. Skip it. On a packed Saturday or a school-holiday day, it can save you hours. Decide by the day you pick, not by fear at the ticket page.

Honest rule for the whole day: the quieter your date, the less everything costs, tickets and extras alike.

Aquaventure or Legoland Water Park?

Families with small children often ask this. Aquaventure suits mixed ages: big slides for teens and parents, Splashers Island for the little ones, and a beach for everyone. If your children are young and you want a water park built only for small kids, look at Legoland Water Park in our Dubai Parks and Resorts guide and compare the two before you book.
