Planning a visit to the Dubai Frame? Here is the short truth first. A ticket costs AED 50 for an adult and AED 20 for a child aged 3 to 12. Many websites show the child price as AED 30. That is wrong. We checked the official Dubai Frame website, and this guide uses only the official prices, the real opening hours, and simple tips so you do not waste money or time.

Quick Facts

  • Adult ticket: AED 50
  • Child ticket (3–12 years): AED 20
  • Under 3 years: FREE
  • People of Determination: FREE, and 2 companions go free too (companion tickets are given at the ticket counter)
  • Opening hours: 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, every day of the year
  • Location: Zabeel Park, Gate 4
  • Nearest metro: Max station, Red Line (some official pages still use its old name, Al Jafiliya)
  • Checked: 16 October 2026, on dubaiframe.ae

Why do so many sites disagree? Some copy old prices and never update them. A few even say seniors enter free. The official site lists no senior rule at all, so please do not plan around one. If a seller asks you for more than AED 50 for a normal adult ticket, you are paying extra for no reason. Buy at the entrance, on the official website, or in the official app.

Pain point solved: the real child price is AED 20, not AED 30. A family of four (2 adults, 2 children) pays AED 140 in total at the official price.

Opening Hours: Come at 8 AM, Not 9 AM

The Dubai Frame opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 9:00 PM. Some guides still print 9:00 AM as the opening time. That one hour matters. The first hour of the day is the quietest time on the glass bridge, and the light is soft for photos. Timings can change a little during Ramadan and public holidays, so check the official site on the day of your visit if you travel in those weeks.

Best times, honestly:

  • 8:00 to 9:30 AM: quiet, clear views, short lines.
  • Sunset: the most beautiful light, but also the longest lines. Book ahead.
  • Midday in summer: very hot outside the building. Read our Dubai Weather guide before you pick a summer date.

What You Actually See Inside

The visit has three simple parts.

  1. The past. On the ground floor, a small museum shows old Dubai: fishing, pearl diving, and small desert homes. It takes about 10 minutes.
  2. The present. A fast lift takes you up 150 metres to the glass bridge. One side shows old Dubai, with Deira and the Creek. The other side shows new Dubai, with Sheikh Zayed Road and the Burj Khalifa. The middle of the bridge has a glass floor. You can walk on it and look straight down. It is safe, and it is the part everyone remembers.
  3. The future. On the way down, a short show presents a picture of Dubai 50 years from now.

The whole visit takes 1 to 1.5 hours for most people. There is no time limit printed on a normal ticket, but the bridge gets busy after 5 PM.

How to Reach Gate 4

The Frame stands inside Zabeel Park, and the entrance is Gate 4.

  • By metro: ride the Red Line to Max station, then walk about 10 minutes to Gate 4. Our Dubai Metro Map guide explains the lines and Nol card fares in simple words.
  • By car or taxi: ask for “Dubai Frame, Zabeel Park Gate 4”. Taxis in Dubai know this landmark well.
  • Large bags and strollers must be left at the Gate 4 counter. Pets, food, drinks, and smoking are not allowed inside. Children under 12 must be with an adult.

One honest note: the official pages do not clearly say whether entry to Zabeel Park itself is included in the Frame ticket or paid separately at the gate. Please confirm at Gate 4 when you arrive, so a small extra park fee does not surprise you.

Dubai Frame or Burj Khalifa?

Both give you a high view, but they are not the same day out. The Frame costs AED 50 and shows you old and new Dubai in one picture. The Burj Khalifa costs more and takes you much higher. If your budget is small, or you only have one free morning, pick the Frame. If you want the tallest building in the world, read our Burj Khalifa tickets guide and compare the prices first. The Museum of the Future stands a short drive away and makes a good second stop on the same day.
